- Enter Baxter State Park via North Gate
- Make camp at South Branch Pond (lean-to)

- Leave Eric's car at South Branch Pond parking area.
- Drive Matt's van and leave it at Nesowadnehunk Field Campground.
- Hike the Wassataquoik Lake Trail to the Center Mountain Lean-to
(6.4 mi).

- Hike to Wassataquoik Stream Lean-to (9.7 mi).

- Paul, Marc and Andy drive to Main in VEHICLE3.
- Enter park by South Gate (Togue Pond Gate).
- Make camp at Kathadin Stream Campground (lean-to).

- Hike to Pogy Pond Lean-to (5.5 mi).

- Climb Mount Kathadin.
- Spend a second night at Kathadin Stream Campground (lean-to).

Friday 9/15/2000 |
- Hike to South Branch Pond (lean-to) (6.0 mi).
|
- Break camp at Kathadin Stream Campground.
- Pick up Matt's van at Nesowadnehunk Field.
- Make camp at South Branch Pond (lean-to).
