South Branch Pond campsite #26

A good campsite. When we arrived it was pouring and we set up the tent and other structures in the rain. The Moss wing is partially over the tent so we could get in and out without getting too wet. Luckily the rain did not last long. The date and time on this photo are correct.

The bedroom (tent on left), living room Moss tarp over chairs, and dining room (blue screen house over picnic table).

Friday morning, in the dining tent.

Marc cooks

Or perhaps he is cleaning the fry pan.

Marc in the morning

The strange (yellowish) color is because we are under the Moss wing. Marc and Paul are getting ready to hike the Middle Fowler Trail over Barrel Ridge.

Eric in the morning

Okay, not the best picture of Eric, but I liked the colors.

Relaxing evening

Marc is hanging laundry. Eric is reading. Paul is in the dining tent (you can see his knees in the open doorway).

Lazy evening

Marc is doing something at the entrance to the tent. Eric is reading.

Paul meditates on dinner

This is our "diningroom" screen fly. It is "old technology" and will probably get replaced this year.

A fire ready to go

I make most of the fires. I made this one for our last night in camp to use up our remaining firewood. Firewood is available from the ranger at most campsites for $4 per bundle. This year the wood was very dry and very easy to light.
