Macanudo time
I bring cigars each year to smoke and enjoy and keep the bugs away with.
Marc partakes
Marc doesn't often join in on the cigar smoking, but he did this year.
Eric reading
Eric did a lot of reading this year. Here he is late in the afternoon, relaxing and reading. Picture is a bit blurry because it was shot through screen wall of dining tent.
Expressing my opinion
I've probably had one or two (or more) beers at this point.
Making Dinner
Our last dinner was a new dish this year: Chicken with Peanut Sauce over Glass Rice Noodles. It was Great!
The Master at Work
Paul brought many fresh herbs from home for this year's meals. I believe you can see lemon grass in the pan.
Beer and conversation
Paul is cooking. Marc and Eric (and likely me too) are drinking beer and expressing opinions.
Draining the pasta
This is one of annual rituals - the draining of the pasta (or potatoes). The picture is fuzzy because it was shot through the screen wall of the dining tent.
Eric loves good food
Sorry Eric. Good picture except for they closed eyes.
Serving it up
Paul is serving up the steaming chicken in peanut sauce, ladling it into the plate over the glass rice noodles.
Note shabbat candles in upper right.
Our last night together.
The next morning we get up early, eat (low fat) corn beef hash, pack up and do the long drive home, another great camping trip behind us.
